For SFED, we see preserving the environment in Egypt as a movement that encompasses social, economic and political developments. The environmental development we envisage is organic in nature, and stemming from the country’s rich resources and natural endowments. Our projects are demand driven, implemented with local communities and organization, and include the following components:
Awareness. Spreading awareness in our society regarding the importance of a healthy environment and the negative impact of pollution. Conducting training sessions and awareness campaigns for locals, showing individuals how they can actively reduce waste and emissions,
Positive behavior. Providing and demonstrating healthy pattern that protect the environment and can be adopted by every individual,
Consulting and promoting green investments. Providing all needed national and international information, know-how, and expertise in environmental, technical, legal and social aspects.
Solutions. Introducing, developing and implementing technical solutions with positive impact on the environment and the economy. Creating show cases that demonstrate that sustainable solutions can work in our society.
Resources. Securing all types of resources, including financing and know-how, to enforce our vision.
