YouthinkGreen Sustainable Egyptian Cities

A sustainable city is designed with consideration of environmental impact to firstly sustain itself with a sustainable reliance and secondly power itself with renewable sources of energy so the city's overall contribution to climate. The purpose of the Sustainable Egyptian Cities event is to seek new solutions for sustainability; Egyptian farmers are facing serious difficulties in irrigating their crops under such severe energy crisis; thus a solar irrigation system for driving the pump to irrigate crops, and provide potable water, is needed. Therefore, the integration between energy, food and water nexus is a must to ensure the sustainabilityof key resources for present and future generations.
